Growing up in an Italian family where tradition was Sundays spent with family and EATING, Laura caught the bug of learning how to cook at an early age. During her high school years she was a member of H.E.R.O. (home economics related occupations) and was elected home economics student of the year.
Her passion for food and culinary arts didn't stop there. Laura began her professional cooking career as a prep cook at Anabel's Edibles Catering Company. After time and lots of hard work, Laura found herself working side by side with the owner where she was part of the menu selections, party details and direct client contact.
Laura was in love with cooking and was ready to take it to the next level. In 2003, she enrolled in Scottsdale Culinary Institute, completed her externship at L'Auberge de Sedona and graduated with honors and perfect attendance.
Other than cooking and eating in great restaurants, Laura likes to spend time with friends and family, travel, and curling up with a great cookbook!
